How to determine the electric footage (Me) of a sign ?

This is the lit tube footage to which we add 0,5 m per pair of electrodes

Me = Tube length + (0,5 x Number of pairs of electrodes)
Example : For a brand in 4 elements composed of 2 elements of 3
m and 2 elements of 2 m : Me = (2 x 3) + (2 x 2) + (0,5 x 4) = 12 electric meters

ATTENTION : The tables correspond to tests carried out in
laboratory conditions (straight ramps, 25 °C, regulated power supply
230V / 50Hz, MATEL activated electrodes). They serve as the basis of work
and should be used as a guide, for making quotes.
Each user using this database must adapt it to their own
specificities (curves, gas type, pression, method of working, electrodes,
etc.). Signs must always be checked on site with a
milliammeter so as not to exceed more than 5% nominal current
(I nominal) transformers.
